Perhaps it is finalizing touches at the end of the painting process, which are drawing all attention like nothing else to the viewers. Even so, they are frequently overdone or ignored altogether.
The subject of this workshop is to learn on which stage of the painting process to successfully implement them, what tools to use, and the word calligraphy comes to mind when working with them.

The techniques will be explained and practiced on the first day:

- Painting techniques involving dry brush, soft and hard-edged lines
- Use of sword liner for painting trees, brunches, wires, poles and other details requiring calligraphy.
- Use of white gouache for highlights.
